I'm a bit surprised that I feel the need to talk about Andrew Cashner, but after a start of 7.0 IP, 1 ER, 6 Hits, 2 BBs, 4 Ks, I can see the tilted heads and curious eyes. Nick! He has a 3.17 ERA this season! Alright alright, trivia time! What is the lowest number of the following four stats? Which is the highest? K/9, BB/9, FIP, xFIP. Go on, take your time. Lowest = K/9 (3.99!). Highest = xFIP (5.42 pitching in Arlington!). With a 4.13 BB/9 and 4.65 FIP. Holy smokes that's a TEEs alright and you want nothing to do with Cashner. Seriously. Sidenote: We're designing a few shirts (Aces Gonna Ace, Cup of Schmo, Don't Trust A Knuckleballer) to put on sale hopefully by the All-Star break and we're brainstorming for a TEEs design for - obviously - a T-Shirt.
